Hakgala Botanic Gardens, at 1,745m above sea level, span 28 hectares beneath the towering 2,200m Hakgala Rock ("Elephant’s Jaw Rock"). The terraced gardens overlook the Uva Valley, offering stunning views of the Madulsima and Namunukula mountain ranges.
